KC-FCE  is a year-long fellowship designed to equip administrators, educators, and school personnel with the tools to build effective, trusting, and goal oriented partnerships between educators, families, and community members that improves student outcomes.  Seven participating schools will have an opportunity to deepen their competencies on effective family and community engagement linked to academic outcomes, receive on-site coaching at their respective schools, technical assistance from a national foundation and receive a $25,000 grant from SchoolSmartKC to support the development of a robust family and community engagement strategy that strengthens and supports academic outcomes for all children.
